We will be bringing down codoba for a scheduled file system check on the home partition at 1:30AM tonight (Feb. 16).

Hostgator has not been updating cpanel as new versions become available. The servers are currently running cpanel version 11.36 an old version which is past its end of life.
cpanel regularly finds and issues security fixes for found problems, but no longer provides any security updates to versions past their EOL.
When new security problems are found cpanel publicly provides information on the security issues after security updates are made available. A hacker can read about these security issues and then use this information to hack websites running cpanel 11.36.

Our datacenter technicians will be preforming maintenance affecting gator1870 at 00:00 CST Feb 19. This server will be gracefully powered off and physically moved to a new server rack. The maintenance window for this move is 4 hours, but we don't expect the server to be offline for more than 60 minutes.
We will provide further updates in this thread shortly before the scheduled start time.

I noticed today that my update settings in WHM is set to manual updates... Currently I am running 11.34 build 8, which is getting kind of old.
I am curious as to how often others update their WHM? Should I set it to automatically update? Currently it is set to the 'Release' tier.
