Just signed up for Baby Hosting Package but then got an email asking for scanned ID and scan of credit card. I am setting up the hosting for my parents home based mail order business (as mentioned in previous post on this forum from last week) as they made me their webmaster who sorts out all the hosting and web making, I also currently live with them in the same house. I can't see anything high risk in the info I gave upon sign up though. Was it random or did I do something wrong ?
pat@gpkonline.co.uk is the email address used on sign up. If the discrepancy is because that is different to the one used on the whois of the domain I am wanting moving across to you, then that is because it is easier for emails regarding hosting to be sent to me rather than my parents. For proof I have just unlocked and changed the NS on the domain name to yours which should show up in 24 hours.
Anyway, I am sure the scans of IDs can easily be sorted, but still be interesting to know if it was the above to cause the high risk alert.
Thanks.
