Affiliate Support Tickets?

Hi,

I tried to send this directly to a hostgator admin on here, but it won't let me, so I'll just post it:

Hello,

I am hoping you can help me.

I don't understand what's going on with the affiliate support tickets.

I enquired originally to email: affiliates@hostgator.com on the 8th of March (over 10 days ago)

Here was my email:

Hello,

I'm going to be doing a very high number of new signups per month
and I would like to speak with an affiliate manager by phone if possible
to make sure that my business model is in line with your programs
terms and conditions.

I know there is no direct number for affiliate support, but is there anyway
that I could speak with an affiliate manager over the phone? Even a chat
would be much more convenient to discuss, that via emails which seem
to take quite a while to be answered.

Please let me know, I would really like to connect with someone in person
before driving a lot of business to hostgator.

I received a reply the next day:


Hello Nick,

Thank you for your email.

Please send some additional information about the program and how you will promote it for us to review in the meantime and please also let us know the best days/times and number to reach you. Thanks again!

I then replied to that ticket, with:



Hi Taylor,

Great to hear from you!

Coincidentally I found your contact details on a forum post that you put up,
and had added you on skype just today.

Basically I own a developing SEO/Web Design/Online Marketing business, and we are
gaining new clients by offering them a website completely for free, except
for the small cost of paying for a domain and monthly hosting.

This works great for us, and is great for hostgator, as these are new customers
that may have never even signed up for hosting, let alone chosen Hostgator
as their service provider, which they are doing under my recommendation.

These are also great customers for you guys, because they will pretty much
stay signed up forever, as they are small local businesses, and understand
that they now need a website, and web presence more than ever.

I have chosen to work with Hostgator as an affiliate, as I believe they are the
best web host around, and I have used them myself now for 4 years, and have
over 5 accounts, including VPS accounts with them myself.

This is going to do really well, and in the first 2 weeks (Feb 14th till the end of
Feb, we did 12 new signups) We're looking at signing 65-75 new customers this month,
and it's going to expand every month from there.

So I would love to have more of a chat about this, as I would like to ask you a few
more things, and discuss ways we can maximize this for both our company and hostgator.

And then..... Nothing, I still have not heard back with any reply, and that was coming up to 2 weeks ago...

Would you be able to check this for me, I really need to speak with an affiliate manager there.
