Not allowed to create another account in WHM because I have no IPs left.
I am new to this so please bear with me. I have vps lvl3 whm w/cpanel.
I did create a package in which i have chosen to use dedicated IP. I have created an account for my primary domain just fine, but when I tried to create another account/domain it said no dedicated IPs left.
So I created package2 and left "use dedicated IPs" box unchecked. Added an account without a problem and added second account without a problem.
My Question is. Do I have to "use dedicated IP" for my primary domain or it doesn't make difference and all my domains should go under Package2?
I wanted to have one domain/account in WHM and then add the rest of domains as addon domains in cPanel. (I did setup addon domains as unlimited in package1 and package2). Does it make any difference under which cPanel I add addon domains (package1 vs package2). If there is no difference then can someone please explain to me what does "use dedicated IP" mean?
In my mind it means that every account I add in WHM under package1 should have own IP and since I have only 1 (2?) IPs, it doesn't let me add more than one account, while in Package2 I can add more accounts. I got that but then if use cPanel for account under package2. won't I have one dedicated IP not being used.
I think (not know) the proper way is to have one account under package1 that uses dedicated IP and then rest of domains as addons in cPanel.
