Can't upload images via JomSocial

Still testing this hosting service. I have a jomsocial site that I can't upload images to. I don't see any other JomSocial threads related to this problem. I tried Chat, but that didn't work.
Any issues involving uploading of images via JomSocial on HostGator been resolved yet?
