Is Jay away sick or on vacation or something? I've had a ticket in for 4 days and no response. I'd like to inquire about a glitch in downloading Visitors spreadsheet data. I'll repost part of my ticket here. If someone can help me, I'd appreciate it:

On the Get Spreadsheet Data page in the Hostgator Affiliate system, I can't seem to download any 'Visitors' spreadsheet data past approximately February 14, 2011. For example, entering 03/13/2011 in the Ending Date field produces a blank .csv file. Entering 02/14/2011 does however produce some data. Entering 02/21/2011 as the Ending Date also produces a blank .csv file. So there is an Ending Date somewhere between Feb 14, 2011 and Feb 21, 2011 in which your Get Spreadsheet Data tool ceases to function correctly (I didn't have the patience to narrow it down to the exact date. I spent a good part of the morning already wrestling with this glitch trying to figure out what was going on). Also, I can't get any visitor data for the month of March 2011 whatsoever regardless of what Ending Date I enter. I've made numerous commissions since February 14, 2011 including many in March so there must be at least some visitor data for March 2011. Also, regardless of what Starting Date I enter, I can't get the downloaded .csv file to show any Visitors data prior to November 6th, 2010. So, without complete and current data, the Get Spreadsheet Data tool is essentially unusable regarding visitor traffic. And with the Graphed Reporting section still out of order, how in the world can we monitor visitor traffic passing through our affiliate links? (e.g., which campaigns are producing the most clickthroughs, etc?) |
