Reseller/Customer Support

Hello, I have a question regarding customer support/re-seller support.

If I am posting in the wrong section please move my thread to the right area.

My question is this:

An organization I am apart of has their domain & hosting through a hostgator re-seller. For roughly the past year, the re-seller has been uncontactable. Since I am one of 2 techs that want to update the website. We have no access to the FTP server/CP for the website. (No one knows the login credentials)

Does Hostgator have support similar to go daddy, in which the customer can contact hostgator, and work to regain control of the site?

In the past they relied on the re-seller to update the website himself.

I am aware that when the domain was purchased there was probably an email copy with the customer number etc. However the people in the organization have no clue about the email receipts from the order.

Is there any direction I can go or advise this group on what to do or whom to get ahold of?
